Project Description
Looking at the goals for the Nomads Network in the short-mid term, we can identify ones that are directly connected to commercial engagement and others that are indirectly supporting the business model. To address all of these needs, we envisioned the Nomads Community.
The Nomads Community Project (as a whole) is meant to cover an end-to-end journey for both the members and the Nomads business, aligning the needs of both. To ensure success, this requires us to formalise and improve the processes connected to commercial engagement, while creating a value proposition that draws people in and keeps them close to us and engaged even when they’re not active on a commercial project.
Background
Nomads studio, formed by its permanent small core team, is supported in its work thanks to the connections to external freelancers and other subject matter experts who are brought in as needed to help tackling projects. By using this approach over the years, Nomads has gathered around its core studio a tight group of talented experts, generalist and specialists, coming from a wide range of different specialties and working for the studio on different levels and types of relation.
This model allows to
bring in the right people with the needed expertise at the right time, to address at hand clients and projects needs;
as a consequence, be enough flexible to stretch its focus and be generalist.
This model, based on connections with external partners, is what allows Nomads to work, be sustainable along time and differentiate itself. However, its identity, its foundations, the creative environment where these connections happens have never been clearly defined. And that’s the aim that this document tries to reach in an initial attempt.
